Hey!

A local yokel from the Myst community here -- saw you through MystBlogs. I clicked through to your UO post and noticed you didn't mention the Mass. Bay Commuter Rail that goes from North Station to ARTC (via the Lowell Line). Just wanted to make sure you knew about it. If it works out with your schedule, you can get in at Back Bay, take the Orange Line directly to North Station, then take the Lowell commuter rail line to Anderson RTC. The hotel has a shuttle from the ARTC that you can either book ahead of time or call once you get there.

I've been commuting all summer, so North Station is pretty much my second home at this point. Let me know if you have any questions.

I didn't think it that awkward at all - and that from someone who's very little social experience, but just generally friendly.

My only real annoyance was how short the time was in talking to each person. It takes me that long just to get up to speed with someone, so as I'm finally getting comfortable its off to the next person. They should consider doubling the times and halving the number of people.

I'd love to know more about your speed dating. I can see how it might actually work, because our instincts are better than we tend to believe. But how awkward! Did it feel that way to you?

email: glamkowski at yahoo dot com

I hate that yahoo address, but bomis.com had a massive server failure a week ago and still haven't recovered fully yet.
*sigh*

I haven't done IRC in years...
